Blended learning environment

From the start of this term, all students now bring their own tablet device to school as a normal part of their equipment. We piloted the scheme with selected year groups last year to ensure this was a robust and powerful way forward in education. All staff in the school are fully trained in the use of devices to enhance learning to provide what we call a blended learning environment, where traditional and modern methods are used to deliver outstanding education. > view full article

Despite the warm weather everyone got round and there were even two new course records! Well done to everyone and a very big thank you to Mr. Rixon and the PE faculty for organising Fit for Life week.   > view full article

France - June 2015

MONDAY We managed to catch the earlier ferry. The crossing was a little rough but this did not put everyone off and no one was sick! After stopping for lunch, we arrived at Chateau Beaumont at 5.00 p.m. local time. The students were excellent on the journey, as always. Finding rooms, exploring the Chateau and having an evening meal formed most of the evening coupled with a game of basketball and treasure hunt. They were ready for bed by 10 p.m. > view full article

Year 13 last day

We said a very fond farewell to our lovely year 13 students today. As usual, there was a theme, which this year was 'The Wild West'. As you can imagine, there was a good selection of cowboys (and cowgirls), red Indians, Mexican bandits and sheriffs. They all looked fantastic and had a wonderful time taking and reflecting on their time at Sandringham finished off with a well-prepared celebration assembly. > view full article
