As you know, we have been in partnership with Farafenni Senior Secondary High School in The Gambia, West Africa for over eight years now. Over this time there have been numerous staff and student visits in both directions, and considerable development work on the curriculum, leadership and campus. In February we were invited over to help open their new School Hall, built from funds raised by Sandringham.

Their latest development is an ambitious project to create a wonderful learning zone and cafeteria in a central part of the school campus. Some early schematics are shown below. This will be another wonderful addition to the environment in a very poor country, and we are delighted to be involved with sponsoring this project. There will be various fund-raising activates scheduled over the next year and we look forward to seeing the completed building when we return in February 2018.

If you would like to know more about this exciting project, contact Anne Lyons at the school.
