COVID Bridging Work
We understand and appreciate that students in years 11 and 13 will have had an abrupt end to their time at Sandringham, although we were pleased to get the leavers’ assemblies done on March 20th.
We wanted to give the students some time and space to take in what has happened, but we also don’t want students to completely fall out of good study habits and to not be prepared for return to sixth form or departure to university or college. Parents have also asked for purposeful work that can act as a bridge to the next step.
Below are two or three interesting, enriching activities tor each subject for Year 11 to prepare for Sixth Form/college and for Year 13 to prepare for university/college.
We have also included some general purpose courses or sources of information on study skills and wellbeing that will be useful no matter what the next stage holds for you.
Please note that the Year 11 into 12 suggestions are optional. Summer work that will be distributed to you on Induction day and will be published here: https://beausandver.org.uk/for-students/summer-work/sandringham-summer-work/ is compulsory and must be brought with you on your first lesson in September 2020.
