Students receive GCSE results at Sandringham
Year 11 students received wonderful news as they opened their GCSE results envelopes.
Against the backdrop of the new ‘harder’ GCSE qualifications, Sandringham students were rightly proud of their achievements with almost every student achieving a positive value-added score, and the vast majority being awarded the higher levels at GCSE standard. Abi Stewart and Jess Simmons both collected nine level 9 grades each and were absolutely delighted with the results. They will join nearly 200 other students in the Sandringham sixth form. Alan Gray, headteacher said, “We are really proud of all our students today. They have been rewarded for all their hard work and effort with many truly outstanding results. This will set them up well for the future as they enter the sixth form or move on to college or apprenticeships. It was particularly pleasing to see the high level of consistency across subjects which included outstanding performance in the core subjects of maths, English and science. I would also like to thank our incredibly talented and committed staff who helped our students achieve so well today. Well done everyone”.
