‘All About Me’ Survey
As we begin the process, we would like to know as much about our new students as we possibly can, in order to facilitate an enjoyable transition for all involved. Please complete the ‘All About Me’ survey via the link below. Over the next half term, Mr Kemp will be visiting all primary schools to meet Y6 teachers and students. During the visits, Mr Kemp will provide information about the transition timeline, about what it is like to be a Sandringham School student, and provide an opportunity for students to speak about what might be worrying them about their move to secondary school.

Moving on: Learning Resource Centre – Suggested Reads
We look forward to talking to you about what you have read over the summer when you begin school in September.
You can use our suggested reads document if you need any help choosing what to read. The books on the suggested reads list were enjoyed by last year’s students or have been recommended by library staff.
We really enjoy receiving recommendations from students, so if we do not have your favourite book or series, please let us know and we may be able to buy it for the LRC.
Once you start school you’ll be able to borrow books from the LRC and access eBooks.
You will be given time to visit the library during some of your English lessons and you will need a fiction book to read during registration periods and in English.
We hope that you enjoy the books you choose to read, and we look forward to meeting you and talking to you about your reading in September.
